Terms of Service
Please read these terms carefully before using SongSim Events.

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the SongSim Events platform ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
2. Account Registration
To access certain features, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an organizer account. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately.
3. Event Creation & Management
Organizers are responsible for the accuracy of all event information including dates, venues, pricing, and descriptions. SongSim Events does not guarantee the success of any event. Organizers must comply with all applicable Ghanaian laws and regulations regarding their events, including obtaining necessary permits and licenses. We reserve the right to remove or suspend events that violate these Terms or applicable law.
4. Ticket Purchases
All ticket sales are facilitated by SongSim Events on behalf of the event organizer. Ticket prices are set by the organizer. By purchasing a ticket, you enter into an agreement with the event organizer. SongSim Events is not the organizer of the event and is not liable for the event experience. Tickets are non-transferable unless the organizer enables transfers. Duplicate or fraudulent tickets will be voided.
5. Voting
Votes cast on the Platform are final and cannot be reversed once confirmed. Each vote has a price set by the event organizer. Vote counts are tracked in real-time and are transparent. Any attempt to manipulate voting through automated means, bots, or fraudulent transactions is strictly prohibited and will result in disqualification and account suspension.
6. Payments & Fees
All payments are processed securely via Paystack. SongSim Events charges a commission on each transaction (ticket sale or vote) as outlined on our Pricing page. Organizer payouts are subject to the minimum payout threshold and processing times of 1–3 business days. Payment processing fees may apply depending on the payment method used.
7. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy and the event organizer's own refund terms. SongSim Events facilitates refunds but the final decision rests with the event organizer for ticket purchases. Votes are generally non-refundable. Please refer to our Refund Policy page for full details.
8. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to: (a) use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; (b) interfere with the Platform's operation or security; (c) create fake accounts or impersonate others; (d) scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Platform without authorization; (e) upload malicious code or content; (f) attempt to manipulate votes or sales through fraudulent means; (g) violate the intellectual property rights of others.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, design, logos, and software on the Platform are owned by SongSim Events or its licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Event content (images, descriptions) uploaded by organizers remains the property of the respective organizer, but you grant SongSim Events a license to display and distribute it on the Platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
SongSim Events is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law, SongSim Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to event cancellations, payment failures, or data loss.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, any pending payouts will be processed according to our standard schedule, minus any outstanding fees or chargebacks.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through the courts of Ghana. Both parties agree to attempt good-faith resolution before pursuing legal action.
